同声传译不只是要求能将英文准确的翻译成中文，还需要将中文准确的翻译成英文，这对于同声传译的翻译员来说要求非常高!为此今天海绎小伙伴为大家带来以下技巧案例分析，希望对大家有所帮助!
第1句
中国政府对最近几个月来世界各地发生的恐怖主义行为持续不断深感不安。
In recent months, the world has witnessed continual acts of terrorism and the Chinese Government is deeply concerned.
翻译时需要把主语暂时存放一边，如果你开始就说“the Chinese Government”，而“深感不安”却在句子最后，句子不好往下接。因此，我们先把主语放在一边，先翻译“最近几个月来，再翻译中国政府深感不安”。当然也可以用“恐怖主义行为”来作主语，翻译为 “Continual acts or terrorism have occurred worldwide in recent months…”或者说“There have been continual acts of terrorism worldwide in recent months…”。
第2句
国际社会必须在贸易金融发展等国际经济领域中采取具体步骤。
In trade, finance and development and many other economic areas, the international community must adopt concrete measures.
这句话也同样需要“存主语”。中文的主语“国际社会”需要先存在一边，然后翻译“贸易金融发展等国际经济领域中”，最后才接“采取具体步骤”。我们不能等到最后一个字出来才开始翻译，这里只有“贸易金融发展”三个并列项目，有时一个句子会列出很长的特定项目，所以必须紧跟一一列出的内容，先译“In trade, finance and development and many other economic areas.”
第3句
我们一贯支持阿拉伯国家和人民的正义斗争。
We consistently support the Arab countries and their people in their just struggle.
这句话需要套用一个英语句型结构“to support somebody in something”。
第4句
我国裁减军队人员100万的措施今年年底就要完成。
China will cut its army by 1 million and this measure will be completed by the end of this year.
当听到“的措施”时，就另起一句，用and来连，“and this measure...”。
第5句
今年5月关于非洲冲突特别联大的召开反映了国际社会问题的关注。
Last May a special UN session on the conflict in Africa was convened. This reflects the international concern over the question of Africa.
把该句中文第一部分变成一个句子，然后用“this”另起一句。 将“的召开”变成“开了一次会”，后半部分变成“这反映了……”。
第6句
我们呼吁有关各方做出进一步努力，使经过多年谈判的共同基金尽早生效。
We appeal to all sides concerned to make further efforts to make sure that the common fund which has been under negotiation for years will come into effect, at an early date.
中文中的“使得……”在英语中需要一个缓冲结构，这里顺势，用不定式“to make sure that”或“to see to it that”这样灵活的表达方式，(仅可接一句子)来羸得时间。
第7句
我们不希望伊朗核问题提交安理会以后出现紧张局势。
We do not hope to see a situation where the referral of the Iran nuclear issue to the Security Council will cause international tension.
在“we do not hope”后面需要有一个缓冲的结构来引导另一个分句，“to see a situation where”可以帮你贏得一点时间，让你有时间考虑如何组织后半个句子。我们经常使用的一些缓冲结构是“to see to it, to make sure that, a situation where”等句式。
第8句
我们赞赏秘书长为解决持续40年之久的塞浦路斯问题所发挥的积极作用。
We appreciate the fact that the Secretary General has been working hard to resolve the Cyprus issue which has been going on for 40 years.
中文句子相对较长，我们不能等到“积极作用”话音落地才开始翻译。处理这个句子的方法是加上“the fact that”。That仅可跟一从句，给了译员很大的自由度。“work hard”是中性的表达方式，全句的意思已译出。如有时间，可再补一句And he’s been playing an active role in the process.
第9句
我们同意联合国教科文组织总干事在苏州会议上所表达的……
We agree with the Director General of UNESCO when he said (who said) at the Suzhou meeting that…
一听到“我们同意联合国教科文组织总干事”，我们就可以开口翻译了。后文“在苏州会议上所表达的……”，我们可以用一个从句来连接。
第10句
可持续发展委员会第4次会议结束了对21世纪议程的审议。
The Committee on Sustainable Development at its 4th meeting finished its consideration of the agenda of Agenda 21.
这里的“第4次会议”用“at its 4th meeting”顺下来，这是很地道的英语。
第11句
联合国大会第1345号决议要求……
The General Assembly of United Nations in its Resolution 1345 resolution demands that...
这里的“in”也用得恰到好处。
第12句
韩国、泰国、新加坡、台湾等国家和地区的出口占亚洲出口总量的30%。
The Republic of China, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan, are countries and regions whose export accounted for more than 30% of Asia’s total.
我们无法记住这么多国家和地区的名字，也来不及记在纸上，所以我们只能开口说出这些名称，“The Republic of China, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan”。接下来的“国家和地区的出口”，为了顺下去，我们可以说“are countries and regions whose export accounted for more than 30% of Asia’s total.”这当然不是地道的英语，但这也是允许的，听众能够理解你说的意思。这种处理方法的原则就是什么重要什么优先。在这里，我们必须牺牲最地道的英语以便能够跟上代表的发言。这就是我为什么说“同声传译就是巧妙地传递意义同时又不失准确和完整，虽然在这个过程中不可避免一些细微信息会丢失”。这两个例句是要让大家明白，作为一名同传翻译，你常需要预测说话人下面要讲的内容，这是很经常的现象。你必须熟悉讲话人的主题 内容并了解各国代表的立场。
下面一个例句是贺词，通常都是一些固定的说法。
第13句
我首先对你当选为联合国第58届大会主席表示热烈的祝贺……
At the outset I wish to congratulate you on your election as president of the 58th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. (I believe with your talent and experience you will be able to contribute to the success of the work.)
最后两个词肯定是“祝贺”，没有别的词语替代。所以我们可以开口就说“congratulate”。当说到“be able to”时我们必须猜测，我们可以说 “you will be able to contribute to the success of the work”或者说“you will be able to accomplish this year’s work successfully”。通常遇到这种情况，我们不得不进行猜测或估计，而且往往我们也能估计出来说话人会说什么，这需要经验和自信。
